The Youth Municipal Council of Stalowa Wola is a representation of young people living or studying in Stalowa Wola. It has a consultative, advisory and initiative character. The basis of its activity is social and civic activity of the Councilors. The Youth City Council of Stalowa Wola acts primarily in order to:

supporting and spreading the idea of self-government among the youth of Stalowa Wola Municipality,

widening participation of youth in social life of Stalowa Wola Municipality,

and integration and cooperation of youth communities.

The term of office of the Youth Council is 2 years. The Council deliberates at sessions convened periodically, of which the Councilors are notified no later than 7 days before the session.

he Youth Municipal Council in Stalowa Wola realizes its tasks and goals through:

• active participation in public, cultural, sports and scientific life of Stalowa Wola Municipality;

• Supporting or organizing civic, cultural, sports and scientific activity in the youth communities of the Stalowa Wola Municipality;

• participation in the deliberations of the City Council;

• Cooperation with the City Council and the President;

• Cooperation with the Municipal Council of Seniors;

• Cooperation with the Stalowa Wola Council of Women;

• Initiating and promoting activities concerning the youth of the Stalowa Wola Municipality;

• Organizing meetings to promote the goals of the Youth Council;

• Acting for integration, development and cooperation of youth circles;

Representing the interests of the youth of Stalowa Wola Municipality to governmental, local governmental and non-governmental institutions.
