STALOWA WOLA DIGITAL PARTICIPATION PLATFORM is an advanced online tool designed to empower residents to actively engage in shaping their city and making decisions about its future. This interactive platform serves as a hub where citizens can submit their ideas, projects, and feedback on various aspects of Stalowa Wola. It offers residents the opportunity to participate in public consultations, vote on budget proposals, and engage in other municipal initiatives.

The Stalowa Wola Digital Participation Platform is built on the DECIDIM platform, an open-source software designed to support participatory democracy. DECIDIM enables citizens, organizations, and other community groups to actively participate in decision-making processes affecting their communities. It allows users to submit ideas, vote on various issues, and track the progress of projects. Created by the Decidim Foundation, the platform aims to make it easier for citizens to influence decisions that affect their lives and environment. DECIDIM has been successfully implemented in 30 countries, 240 institutions, and 150 organizations, including NYC, Helsinki, Barcelona, and Milan, as well as in Polish cities like Gdynia and Warsaw, where it has fostered active community engagement in decision-making and consultation processes. The Stalowa Wola Digital Participation Platform was created as part of the project "MODEL SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFICULT CHALLENGES - Local and Institutional Development Plan for Stalowa Wola," which was implemented from November 1, 2021, to April 30, 2024, under the Local Development Program and co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 (85%) and the State Budget (15%).
